Overview
The Accounting major at our university is a Shandong Provincial First-Class Undergraduate Major Construction Site, and a demonstration discipline and major for industry-education integration in the performance evaluation of universities serving local vitality in Qingdao. The major offers distinctive directional classes, aligned with the standards of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), and GDA (Global Digital Accountant), with courses related to ACCA, CIMA, and GDA exams integrated into the training program. It aims to cultivate innovative, digital-intelligent, and application-oriented accounting talents who are familiar with domestic and international accounting rules, master knowledge in accounting as well as related fields such as finance, auditing, management, economics, law, and digital-intelligent technologies, and possess an international perspective, humanistic literacy, integrity, and an interdisciplinary mindset. These talents will have interdisciplinary capabilities between accounting and related disciplines, accounting digital-intelligent analysis capabilities, accounting practice capabilities, and communication and collaboration capabilities, enabling them to engage in accounting-related work and serve the construction of smart cities and regional economic development.
