Overview
The English major, established in 2004, is strategically based in Qingdao, serves Shandong Province, and is oriented toward Northeast Asia international cooperation and the SCO Demonstration Area. With a core focus on cultivating intercultural communication and interaction competence, English major is committed to developing globally oriented, interdisciplinary, and application-driven English talents. Closely aligned with the urban core industries of Qingdao, such as international conferences and exhibitions, foreign-related trade and commerce, cultural and tourism exchanges, international education, and cross-border services. English major has established a "Four-in-One" training system that integrates language proficiency, intercultural competence, professional skills, and digital literacy.
