Why choose Russian?
- Russia is the largest country in the world by area and rich in natural resources. Russian is one of the six working languages of the United Nations and the official language of the Russian Federation. It is spoken as a native or second language in 13 countries worldwide. Against the backdrop of the China-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Coordination for a New Era, deepening cooperation between the two countries in various fields provides a broader stage for the development of the Russian language program.
- The Russian program fully implements the educational philosophy of "Application-oriented, Internationalization, and Digital Intelligence." It deeply integrates national compulsory courses with international Russian courses, transforming from a single focus on language skills training to a four-dimensional cultivation system centered on "R.I.S.E.": R - Strengthening language and cultural foundations, I - Integrating digital literacy and professional competencies, S - Expanding international vision and cross-cultural abilities, E - Whole-process project-driven practice. At the same time, the program implements a collaborative teaching model between Chinese and foreign teachers and a "Four-Classroom Linkage" characteristic teaching model. Using various resources and formats, it helps students solidly master Russian language knowledge, experience Russian national conditions and culture, and enhance their learning interest and abilities. The program has established international exchange and cooperation relationships with many well-known Russian universities, allowing students to participate in tuition-free exchange programs and online international exchange activities.
- 80% of Russian language teachers have a study-abroad background, rich teaching experience, and have won multiple national teaching competition awards. The program features small-class teaching with a team of Chinese and foreign teachers.
- The program fosters a strong learning atmosphere, with pass rates for professional proficiency exams far exceeding the national average. Graduates can pursue master's and doctoral degrees at well-known universities in China and abroad.
- The program is equipped with 40 advanced multimedia classrooms and 13 multifunctional digital language labs, fully supporting the teaching of phonetics, listening, speaking, interpretation, and other courses.
- Multiple internship and training bases provide ample industry practice positions. Students can regularly participate in volunteer translation projects for major domestic and international events. The program offers broad employment prospects, with graduates able to work in translation, teaching, management, and other roles in foreign affairs, economics and trade, culture, education, tourism, and related industries. Career development paths are broad and stable.
